Audio shopping at its best

Um, wow! How can audio shops afford to have so much high end audio sitting on shelves? Shanghai must have a lot of rich people.

One thing's for sure:  you'd better have some decent idea of what you are interested in before you hit this place.   A lot of the stuff is just sitting about, like paired speakers and equipment up on shelves, but there were many astonishingly-nice pure listening rooms highlighting individual systems.  No way to easily go in there and "shop".  And yes, there are a lot people, rich ones too, in Shanghai.  I think you can also easily say that the hobby is NOT dying out over there!  Looks like this was a recorded on off hours or an off day.

It's just a home furnishings mall😂

No Rolex shopping. Probably a high end watch mall down the road.

If you're with the wife shopping for furniture, perfect excuse to go to the restroom and head to the top floor.

Several of the places had walls of electronics on the shelves like in Best Buy or Crazy Eddie’s BITD. But these electronics were super high end Accuphase, Esoteric, Luxman, god knows what else. One wall was nothing but every model of Project TT currently in production! I’ve never seen anything like it. And only a couple rooms had any music playing. Or any people looking or listening. Ah the super-rich, they’re not like us. 

Government subsidies propaganda, or somebody proved me wrong that China has gone that capitalist of a country. How does this exist while the US slowly becomes a Hifi desert?
