I’m headed to the first Cleveland show in September. Very excited to see this.

Anika in my opinion lacks that male upper body mass and strength that drummers like The Professor have.

Poor little waif.  At least she is able to make up for that extreme handicap with extreme skill.

@jji666    Rush will just heavily amplify and boost the level of output on the drum kit, problem solved. Bottom line the Anika decision was a win/win for Rush. It makes the band appear 21st century PC, it avoids any direct comparison to Neil Peart and still provides a slight "rock" circus atmosphere.

I have been a Rush fan since one of my high school mates

gave me a copy of 2112 in 1979.  I have seen them

more times than I can count and will see them again in DC in October.

Anyone who was able to play with Jeff Beck has chops.  It’s weird seeing a tiny woman behind the kit with Alex and Geddy. However just getting to see them

one more time is more than any true fan can ask for.

I’ve been playing drums since I was 7 years old.  Neil was among the giants. Him, Bonham, Moon, Baker, Bruford gave birth to a whole second generation of powerhouse players; Portnoy, Mangini, Lange, Sucherman, and of course little Anika.
we should all be grateful that we lived when they did and get to enjoy their music for as along as we can still hear😂.

I was not planning on going but I keep watching the Juno performance and had to go. Los Angeles on Tues with my 20 something musician friend.
