Shunyata X series power cords

Has anyone tested the new X series of Shunyata power cords. I currently am using an Alpha v2 on my streamer/dac, but my dealer has told me the new Alpha and Sigma x series are vastly improved.

@ryder I have several Furutech DPS with FI-50 NCF rhodium connectors, a couple of Shunyata Alpha NRv2, one Delta NRv2 and thanks in part to the good advice received from @sdl4 above, one Alpha-X NR version.  I believe the Delta may share some of the higher energy/brighter/fatiguing qualities referred to above in relation to Theta.  I do not experience the same with either the Alpha NR v2 or Alpha-X.  The Alpha-X is indeed an outstanding cable in my experience, and a clear step up from the Alpha NRv2 in terms of black background, music sounding more natural and feeling closer to a live sound.  I experience DPS as silky smooth, with great timbres, textures and good bass etc as described above.  I am using Shunyata on my source gear and DPS downstream of that.  Both have a very open sound which I think makes them complement nicely in this respect at least. I haven't noticed any obvious incompatibilities from running both brands like I have with another brand tried in combination with DPS.   I have read varying reports about whether the Alpha X-NR or XC version would be best between the wall and my Gigawatt power conditioner.  On the one hand, the Gigawatt is a power conditioner and the XC versions are commonly used on conditioners, but on the other hand, my Gigawatt does not have the Shunyata version of noise reduction technology already built in, so perhaps it might be suited.   So I tried placing the Alpha-X NR from wall to power conditioner and that is where it remains.  Works very nicely.  I would definitely recommend going for the Alpha-X over Theta.  I doubt you will regret it!

@ryder Looking forward to hearing about your results. I’m using an old Synergistic A/C Master Coupler on my Diablo 300. Definitely better than stock but the price when I bought it was not even close to today’s crazy prices.

Which speaker cables are you using? I’m looking at Alpha X, NO Frey2/Tyr2 or Siltech Classic Legend. All low capacitance cables which makes them suitable for Gryphon amps.
