amp I bought 3 days ago not powering on - electrical engineer advice wanted

I did. He said: "yeah, I see it, it's a long one brother!" I tried to ask what it is, but he seemed to be inclined to hang up on me. I think I will order one and bring it to him.

As for him being imaginary, paid actor, prank, etc.  those are valid points. Again, with Robin Gibb's words: the joke is on me. You guys have fun and working gear (boring!), I have my story.

It stopped reliably turning on. When it would turn on, it would work as intended.

Based on descriptions given earlier, sometimes the amp comes out of protection, sometimes not.

I thought we all agreed that there is no amp, no tech.

Just music.
