@mofimadness , LOL about the fans. I’ve seen Tool twice and I had that thought about their fans. 35 year old males in black trench coats. I must say the majority of the Tool fans I spoke with seemed very intelligent. @yyzsantabarbara , Anika in my opinion lacks that male upper body mass and strength that drummers like The Professor have. My brother drums out of Bently’s in Fresno. I’ve been there when Tommy Aldridge and Carmine Appice played amongst others. But those two have that brutal power like Peart had. I think Peart had the power plus the speed and timing like Buddy Rich and Gene Krupa. But that’s just my 02 cents. FWIT I’ve run into Aldridge in Montecito at Starbucks. That’s about the only thing in that town I can afford. 😆 Cheers , Mike B.

I took my wife to see RUSH at Caeser’s Palace in Vegas around 2013. She did stick out amongst the crowd.

@buellrider97 I do not know too much about drumming, but Anika seemed to have some nice rhythm to her playing on Finding My Way.

The drummer that always impresses me over everyone else is John Bonham. I feel like his drums sound the most powerful.

The drumming was fine on that song; Geddy’s vocals were an absolute travesty. Awful. I love his "classic" voice, but at this point it’s shot and he really should hand off to someone who can do a decent job. I get that this particular song is probably tougher than most in their catalog, but...sheesh.

People rightfully give David Lee Roth and Vince Neil crap for their terrible nostalgia cash-in performances, and I don’t see how this is much better.
