I've been having the same issues with Qobuz on Innuos. Some tracks on an album just get skipped over. Anybody else having this with Innuos as well?
Thanks
Roon Issues - Not able to play certain tracks
I have been running into this issue when Roon is in the radio mode where spontaneously it runs into a track it can’t play. It just sits there trying to play it.
When I go to that album and attempt to manually play that same track on Qobuz the result is the same - it won’t play. Plays other tracks from the albums just fine.
If I go back to Roon radio and skip that track the next song is played no issues.
No such problems with Tidal.
I have rebooted the Roon Nucleus One, rebooted my network, rebooted my DAC.
Even signed out of streaming services and signed back in. No bueno. This is in addition to it being sluggish and requiring an almost daily reboot to maintain sound quality and proper operating speed. Now this…
Anyone else with this problem?
@tko956 same issues most likely. Although I was able to play the tracks that didn’t play on roon, directly in Qobuz. I’ve been listening to Tidal which is rock solid via tidal connect or jplay. Not sure if innuous is compatible with jplay or qobuz and tidal connect. Not familiar with it. |
Certainly no better this morning, I have had 5 songs not play out of the first dozen from my jazz playlist (Qobuz using Jplay through Emerson Digital streamer) I really hope I don't need to start a Tidal subscription again, I feel I have maybe one more day of patience. I used to use Tidal before Qobuz launched in Canada. I'll check out if I can sneak a trial again, maybe using a different email. |
I commiserate with everything stated about Roon, past, present, and future. I nearly sent my Roon Nucleus One to my garage vice and crushed it out of existence. That is one POS hardware platform, plastic heatsinks included. I have a Teddy Pardo 19V power supply I will be selling at some point. I do agree with @mapman on a more powerful machine running Ruin (good one @audphile1 ); it’s been running on an i7 windows 11 PC without issue so far. Roon radio runs non stop 24/7 whereas on the giant POS ruined nucleus nONE, it would crap out after a few songs. |
@mclinnguy Tidal is great. Zero issues with performance or sound quality. |
