Listening habits.

I see no reason to limit format unless a dalliance or three becomes dilutive to some imaginary or real higher plane of sonic bliss… I’m thinking after listening to Robbie Robertson solo effort S/T, I should pick up a DAT….

two hands a 4 turntables sometimes need a break… plus streaming is insane access to new music that may never be properly mastered / pressed into the hopefully flat black disc

I mainly listen to vinyl now, although I did take a break form 2019 to 2024. Prior to that I pretty evenly split between vinyl and ripped CDs. For the past couple of years, vinyl has dominated my listening.

I never stopped listening to records, even after the CD craze.  I bought a lot of CDs but always preferred the sound of LP’S.  Until recently.  Now, with my new streamer, the gap between analog and digital sonically has disappeared. But I still listen to records.   Never stopped.

Still listen to LP's but infrequently. Same for CD's. Still have collections of both, just too old and lazy to bother. Also have a decent streamer that does lossless files pretty well.

Many on this forum seem to listen to LP’s almost exclusively.  

Are we on the same forum?
