BluOS app error message
Hi, All,
I am all of a sudden getting a constant error message and music stops playing on my Bluesound Icon. The error message reads:
Player Notification
Error: unexpected EOF
Qobuz:19906020
Most often the music will not play I keep hitting ok and nothing. INCREDIBLY frustrating!!
I am going Ethernet from Icon to TP Link adapter. Never used to have this issue and now it is constant. UGGHHHHH
Any idea what’s going on here?

@mulveling Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. Makes sense. Perfect diagnosis. @llg98ljk Yes sent them an email Saturday. Awaiting response. I’m relatively certain it’s not the Icon, it’s either BluOS app or Qobuz I feel like.
@theo Indeed. It used to happen very infrequently, but after this last update a couple weeks ago the problem became MUCH worse! And now simply clicking “Ok” when it happens the music will not resume whereas before it always did. And it literally happens ALL the time now. So infuriating and just dumb🤦🏼♂️ |
@ronboco Thanks for replying. That used to work once I just clicked “ok”, but not anymore and I have tried EVERYTHING! Once that message hits now nothing short of a Priest is working. It just won’t play. I even go back to my playlist to reshuffle the deck. Sometimes that’s the only thing that works, but not always. Oh I’m so pissed. Have messages into Qobuz and Bluesound. Awaiting replies… |
