AI saids Vinyls needs to be stored 90 degrees. I had mine at about 70 degrees. Thoughts?

I own about 20 vinyls (some rare DJ mixes or 12 inch mixes). Most of them came from the 90s. I keep my house in about the degree range of 77-80 (I am the type to get cold easy). I kept my vinyls in a milk crate. Most them were stored at angle about 70 degrees. AI saids this is very bad and they could have some warping. Any thoughts, please?

Get  a LP jacket alignment jig.

Been using the ACME titanium model since the 70's.👍

I cant imagine life without. No album in my collection under 88.3 degrees!

Now discontinued AFAIK. Cheap plastic clones available on Temu.

And just a note its Vinyl. no "S" vinyl is both singular and plural. 90 degrees temp is too warm for them, IMO the cooler the room the better. 90 degree angle is optimum but a slight off vertical is not bad, don’t lay them down on their face-back for long term storage. Don’t have them all fallen over on an angle as that can also induce warping.

I think the 90 degree rule for vinyls only applies to undergarments.

Records are fine at normal room termeratures.
