What is the most preferred revel or jbl speaker you have owned and why do you prefer it

The Revel F36 were great for the money but absolutely need a subwoofer. 

The F208 have been a significant step up. Nearly full range. Fantastic sound. Great well balance frequency response. 

Sometime older turns out to sound better. My revel Performa f52 sound more forward, And to me, better then my f208 speakers. Still love the f20s

Never heard a pair of JBL's I'd want to live with, but some of the Revel models show promise.  Speaker choice is very subjective and personal, as well as room and system dependent.. 

JBL I have had: L25,L36,L40,L120,L300,AquariusIV(2),S1,4408. Currently have L65,L100,L222,DorianS12,B380. The L222 is the daily driver. Working on connecting the B380 wirelessly. The Dorian’s are my original pair from the late 60s. The L222 are from the late 70s.
