It depends. Audiophile switches one has to spend significant amount for a top switch to have consistent improvement like Telegartner, Network Acoustics, Reiki. Other lower cost switches are much more inconsistent on whether sonic  benefit or not. SR might be a great lower cost choice.

So yes, audiophile switches can make a difference but the ~4k cost might better be used for other gear.

My SS audio chain targets transparency, neutrality, and a low noise floor so I’m targeting a Reiki switch+ethernet cable.  

I use the Innuos PhoenixNet with my Pulsar.  It made a very nice improvement by lowering the noise floor, which then improved the sound stage and detail in my system.  If you’re willing to buy used (I did), the price is much easier to swallow.  A warning though, good Ethernet and usb cables are a must to realize the full potential of your additional outlay.

@marco1 I have an opportunity to purchase a demo. My setup is quite revolving with the Pulsar but I always wondered how much more I can get out of the Pulsar with this added switch. Doesn't the Innuos Statement incorporate both the Phoenix NET and USB? And if I'm not mistaken the Pulsar is a light version of the Phoenix USB? So adding this NET switch with it's own power supply should be an upgrade, no?
