Advice on speaker cables.

Thanks for all the response. Budget is in the $400 range, I should add I need close to 12ft on one side and figured I should keep them equal. I was looking into Tellurium Black 2 but the return window was short and had a restocking fee. 
I’m not opposed to used and figure I’d get used to whatever I buy more than likely. 
I know my experience with the Blue Jean is probably rare but I used my 24 yo daughters ears in a blind test and she picked that side as dull sounding maybe it was the banana connection. I don’t know.

Kimber Kable 8PR is great with the S-BAN connectors. Great resale too if you later want to trade up.

I found a description of Apature speaker cables from the 1980's (link). It seems you like the sound of your Apature cables at least as well, or better, than the BJC or WBC cables you tried.  You might consider what problem you are trying to fix, or what sonic qualities you are trying to change.  IME, speaker cables do sound different from each other but are unlikely to make a profound difference in the overall sound of your system.  IOW, you may be just fine with what you have.

I'm using Kimber 4pr in my mid range system. Very even sounding and a good price match for the system level.
