Need some opinions over JA Michell

I'm curious if adding more weight to the platter on my Orb would cause a deleterious result to the bearing. The springs are gone in favour of the True Point Audio suspension so the harm would not happen here but, the bearing I'm not so sure.

For example, I'm looking at two of three products from Amtrans in Japan: their turntable Sheet AMTS-03 1 kg  or their turntable Sheet AMTS-02 1.2 kg and the AMDS-01 Record Stabilizer 1 kg. The total added weight would be around two kg. 

Your thoughts on the matter will be appreciated. I have found no information over this very question.

Mitchell offer a Platter Kit for sale that substantially increases the Platter Depth and Weight.

I'm sure they won't be too concerned about a extra Kg, but might suggest a Harder Thrust Pad Material?

Contact with Michell will be last resort. Your comment in regard to the platter kit is a logical point. As far as thrust pad, already changed steel ball for ceramic. Another Japanese company Fidelix  (well known for headshells), also sells a "disc stabilizer" an outer platter ring called PURE FLAT2 which also comes in at 1 kg.
