Setting for Planar 3 RS Nd5 with Rogue RP-1?

Hello. I have an incoming P3 RS. Will be used with my Rogue RP-1. There seems to be some adjustable settings in the RP-1 for the Phono amp. Cartridge loading and Resistive loading. Not exactly sure what they do? The preset is Gain 43dB and loading set at 47K. Does that seem ok for the Nd5 Cart or do i need to futz will the settings. TIA

You won’t need to change any of the settings on the RP-1!

If the cartridge is a moving magnet type, those settings are fine. In fact they’re fine for any MM.

You need to make sure your RP-1 is set to 43db or 45db gain with 47kohm load. 
RP-1 has a really nice built in phono stage. I really liked it when I had RP-1. Easy to adjust. Refer to this manual. You want to check the settings - it would suck if someone else before you had this RP-1 and left the settings for a low output MC cartridge active.
