Burmester 232 - sound of the Gods.

My 2 year project of putting together an ultra high end system is finally done. Added the Tai Hang power enhancer to my system. Wow. Can’t find a fault in the sound during critical listening sessions even if I try. My advice to all is to add a good power conditioner to a quality setup to get the full performance. Have become a big fan of Chi Fi along the way. Also, I found my LAN tweaks (if IPurifier Pro with if IPower x and if LAN silencer) made a significant difference in source optimization. Last but not least, Cardas cables and IsoAcoustics Bordeaux feet made a huge improvement. Quality cables are an absolute must.

add PE groups to your statement. We've seen how that goes within the audiophool industry.

@mramaswamy11 congrats on putting together a nice system that you enjoy. In the scheme of things, its not at an "ultra" level-not a knock, neither is mine. From every indication you are relatively new to this and a lot of folks here can offer advice that may or may not work for you, but would be worthy of consideration if you are interested. I certainly have benefitted from advice on this forum.

Its the internet, and civility is, sadly, often in short supply. I suspect lots of folks on this forum own imported cars - Mercs are beautiful, but not particularly reliable-like audio gear its a matter of personal preference. I suggest-and I really don't mean this as an insult-that boasting about your income or your cars, etc., may not be the best basis for participation in this forum. Put plainly, I don't think anyone here gives a rat's rear about what kind of cars any of us own, where we went to school, if we went to school, or how much money we make. Quality reproduction of recorded music is a different matter, and you have something to add to that discussion.

Audiogon is great when its a bunch of people sharing a passion, exchanging ideas and offering supportive advice. When, as it too often does, it turns to insults and name calling it most resembles a bunch of mean middle school girls and is just silly.

@tablejockey makes a good point about the Sopras. Nothing wrong with the Kantas at all, but if you like Focal you'll get more of what you like as you move up the product line-better cabinet materials, etc.

I'm with you on Burmester-its a great product, but there are many great brands. Enjoy the music.

As usual, we learned nothing, he learned nothing, but it was fun while it lasted.

@kerrybh  Could not agree with you more. Confrontation is foolish. What I find strange about this forum  is how quickly people say rude things without any relevance to the original post. After I decided to end this forum, they joined on the bandwagon of dissing MBAs. They don't stop. Some of my earlier posts were just responses to rude comments but I think this will go on and on so I will refuse to reply. Will DM you if I need any advice since you seem to be knowledgeable about high end audio.
