Klipsch Heresy IV owners? what amp are you running

just curious to hear from owners what amp you're enjoying with your Heresy IVs

I was using Heresy III with a pair of Quicksilver Mid Mono amps and they sounded great.

Currently own a pair of Forte IV.   I use a 300b with those but I rotate amps occasionally.  They are currently being driven by the Mid Monos.   Plenty of power for Heritage and sound great

Manley stingray, quicksilver, mcintosh 275. Have a voice of theater also run with these.have fun listening.enjoy the music.

@m-db @decooney Regardless of the component in question any account of someone’s getting off the Merry-Go-Round makes for an interesting read. Thanks for sharing, nicely done.

Good point @m-db and how you put it that way, I sorta realize it was a ride-along for me as well..  Every new amp was discussed at length, each time around. The past five years was a long ride wondering if the merry-go-round would eventually come to a hault.

What was interesting about all of this is the final amp was always in mind. It came up, multiple times, each time. However instead of making that move, there was always a slight diversion to try something else - instead.  It took a few heart felt conversations to help surface the obvious decision that needed to occur - to buy that amp he always wanted, and kept avoiding. "Its time now, go for it" as i recall it was.  Now he has it, glad he did it, enjoying every minute now. That's the best part of the story, as I think of it now. Thanks for reminding me of that part, it so true, and quite nice for the buddy.

PS Audio BHK250 amp and a PS Audio BHK preamplifier.  A little bit of heaven with both.  I barely use much of the power from the amp due to the Heresy’s efficiency.   But,  that’s the point.

100% agree with idea of adding at least one sub with the Heresy IVs.   I started off with a single Rel S/510 and it transformed my system in phenomenal ways.  Recently added a second S/510 and now the soundstage is cohesive and sounds amazing.

I echo the Leben cs300xs pick. Not only is it perfectly power matched but it has the ability to tame the Heresy’s horn which can get annoyingly bright especially on jazz. Bass boost is a bonus as is a balance control. It is also a fine aesthetic complement at least with the oak speakers i have. Added the sublime Leben phono stage to carry the Clearaudio Concept Wood / Dynavector signal and it’s just a lovely, musical, relatively compact system.
