You can get older used accuphase for cheaper, however, if the prior owner didn’t abuse it.

If you don’t mind the pro processors, there are more options. The good ones are not cheap either.

I use a DBX PA-2 with my Altec 14's.

It allows for 2, 3, 4 way configuration , options for crossover type, slope rates, time delay etc.. It also has a room correction/ EQ  mode that works pretty well.

About $ 500 new
