I like having everything plugged in to one unit sharing one AC wall receptacle which is very effective at helping to prevent ground loops along with reasonably competent surge protection that I'll pay hundreds of $ for not thousands. Having little ergonomic touches like the AC receptacles on the PLC mounted with ground pin on top so your heavier cables stay in place and not work themselves out and the amps and line voltage indicators on front are nice touch if not exactly useful.

Seems that engineers who work in industries that demand actual control or reduction in EMI/RFI and other things, use industrial power filters that actually do what they claim to do and they have the measurements to back it up. The Shunyatas and all the rest of the audiophile associated pieces that are basically a fancy power cable receptacle, rely on what they hear (and any objective, rational person knows that is 100% subjective and not valid).
