@trivema seems to get the concept.  I take it further and actually have a playlist for my wake.  Why would I want to lie around / have a gathering and play bad  / uplifting music?

Jackson Browne wrote These Days when he was just 16yrs old. Also love Gregg Allman’s version.

"Don't confront me with my failures, I'm aware of them."

Jackson's original version of the closing line ended, "I have not forgotten them."

@trivema  and @milo0812  Funny how several of us chose Jackson Browne. It's a tossup for me between Rock Me on the Water and The Pretender.
