I beg to differ on both of your opinions about the Wharfedale jade3 speakers. Steve Gutenberg of Audiophonics that is an acclaimed reviewer is who wrote a review on this speaker and gave it the highest marks and grades in its class. The review was titled The British Are Coming. Well as we know Wharfedale is a British brand speaker and not made in the USA. So, could that be a little bias being mentioned for the speaker not being popular in your subjective space. That leaves me to say that yes, this hobby is very subjective, and I also noticed that a lot of people on this site don't know what they're talking about half the time just because they have a narrow-minded opinion or like to think that what they have and know is the best thing since sliced cheese and sliced bread. This speaker has some of the best reviews ever for a speaker in its class, said to outperform speakers in the $10,000 price range. I think that's saying quite a bit for the speakers that only costs $1500 for the pair. Many other high caliber speaker reviewers have the same opinion as Steve Guttenberg on the performance of this speaker. Being curious I googled why this speaker was so hard to find in the USA and it stated that the reason is because previous owners of the speaker would not and will not let them go once, they heard them and tend to hold on to them for life because of their great sound quality and value of performance for the money. So, for that reason they like many other speakers that outperform speakers in their class don't hit the resale market as often as others. It goes on to say, not but so many was made at the time because it was a special edition and the numbers where limited. In conclusion I think more of us should just google AI and get a MUCH MORE DEFINITIVE AND CONCLUSIVE ANSEWER TO A QUESTION ABOUT HIFI... then to take the advice from someone on this forum or any forum for that matter when it comes to something so subjective as HIFI Equipment. Sorry if I hurt some feeling with my STRONG OPINION But that's JUST ME AND MY OPINION... Peace!
