Hello Fire Water!  After 50 hours, and very short wires, I think you can trust you ears and ask for that (I hope you have one) money back guarantee.  Try some bare 14  guage zip cord or solid 14 gauge (or more) house wiring wire. You just want to be sure it's copper or silver wire you're using. Enjoy the Music.

Something seems amiss.  I don’t doubt you’re hearing what you are, but it’s just hard to fathom some presumably cheap metal straps sound that much better than much higher gauge OCC copper cables and almost makes me wonder if there’s something wrong with the cables although that seems highly unlikely.  Really scratching my head a bit over this one. 

I've been very happy with my Zavfino OCC jumpers at a fraction of the cost of the Furutech.

Just my 2 cents

My main system uses a primaluna dialogue two preamp, primaluna dialogue 6 monoblock amps, and B & W 805 speakers connected with Nordost valhalla and odin cables.  I swapped out the stock jumpers for Nordost reference jumpers.  The improvement was immediately apparent, and it has continued to improve.  

If you do not hear any improvement with the Fururtech jumpers then you might want to try something else.  The change should not be subtle.
