The B&W’s are a bit more efficient than Magico, like 5 db at 1 watt. I’ve read on these forums and others that Magico uses klippel to build the most measurably accurate speakers that listeners who don't like them say is because they have no dynamics, dull, lifeless, flat etc. IME with other inefficient speakers HUGE power reserves often compensates for the lack of dynamics, but I’ve got no experience with Magico. The D4 line of B&W is getting praise for being so enjoyable to listen to folk don’t care if they deviate from measurably accurate.
2 brands with opposite priorities that are both on top of their game and as it’s your money YOU get to decide, have fun with it.
