Sleep in the stars brother.  

It's a sad day but I can't help smile at the gifts of the memories and music that remain.

My deepest condolences to the whole Dead family.

I spent the day listening to Bobby tunes. 

He lived life to it's fullest. Wish he could have hung around a bit longer though. 

Just saw this (Bob Weir and Mayer on The tonight Show) on AOL and don't know how to link to Instagram - so here's the AOL link with the video. 

I wasn't a DH, but did see them twice and listened to Europe 72 a lot in the 70's (the only one of their albums I owned and didn't know until now that it was a favorite of many).

My wife lived next to them (the Band) in the 60's, but I've told the story before.

Anyway, enjoyed watching listening to this song just now.
