@rvpiano Find a local (even local-ish) high end audio dealer. Chat with the owner and tell the owner a bit about yourself and what you are looking for, namely some opportunity to meet face to face with fellow audiophiles. It has been my observation that owners of high end stores know some of their clientele very well, and the owner probably has a decent idea who you might click with. Then ask for a few introductions. I’m a friendly very young minded 86 year old (as you can determine by my posts here on A’gon. My problem is I’m not very mobile, great difficulty traveling, I would love to share my company and high end system with a like minded person from this forum. I live in Nassau county on Long Island.

I would love to share my system and hear others and I'm in Orange County CA. I know we have a local club, but it is so spread out and their FB page left a bad taste in my mouth in that only certain members could post.
Also, they keep e-mailing me to join them for zoom meetings but then don't recognize me when I try to go there. I just didn't need that kind of thing. |
