You are in the price range of the Herron VTPH2A, an exceptionally fine phono stage for which there are few reviews. Do a search though, you will find plenty of rave reviews from happy owners such as myself. Possibly might even be comments from a few who have heard one of these other ones you're asking about.

The PS Audio Stellar Phono amp ($2500) and the Aeasthetix Rhea Saturn($4000) both have stunning reviews. Has any readers here ever compared them in sound, transparency and value? Which one sounded better as prices don't always reflect the true nature of audio gear.
