keep in mind we’re not talking about the same quality leather and craftsmanship you would get with the original eames or with a considerably more expensive leather chair from a furniture store. This has a good feel, good look and is very comfortable. We’re buying Italian leather for $500 here…
Chair
I’ve been thoroughly bitten by the couch. My listening chair that is.
I’m forced to cut my listening sessions short due to lower back pain (chronic, result of an old injury). Looking to get something that would be comfortable enough to not aggravate the nerve in my tukhes and align properly with my speakers in a sweet spot.
Eames replica in leather? Ikea Poang? Anything else? What do you use?

I received my Eames chair and ottoman, and any concerns I had about the chair being too low turned out to be a non-issue. The build quality is excellent, and the top-grain Italian leather feels fantastic. The back support is firm yet very comfortable. The instructions were clear and well laid out, and I had everything assembled in about 75 minutes. Thanks again for the insight and inspiration. |
@lalitk great! I’ve been enjoying mine. And my lower back is happy in this chair as well. No pain. |
