Any ladies in the audience?

Curious about this a long time.

Any female members on here?

In general men have more hearing loss with age because of the work they do and their hobbies. I would also like to say hi to Sarah and wish all a Happy New Year.

Oh I don't mind women hearing and listening better, especially when I am talking.

I worked the admission desk at CAF for a few hours this year. I checked in 3 solo female show goers. I have worked CAF for 6 years and never checked in a solo female. I hope that signals hope.

I see an equal number or more females than males at concerts on a regular basis.

Nitpicky hifi dinosaurs nitpicking about soundstage and precise placement of instruments (acting like some half baked version of mastering engineers working in a studio) is probably very unappealing to females.

Sony has been figuring it out, probably did the research....selling compact immersive surround systems like the bravia quad theater (which produces a concert like envelopment) to a lot of females, including my spouse.

If the hifi sales dinosaurs can’t figure out how to tap into the other 50%’s bank accounts and closes shop after the old guys expire, it is quite understandable.  The females, even the ones with audiophile inclinations certainly don’t seem to want your fatass/uglyass wilsons dude...cry a river, if you need to

Yeah Deep_333 I’ve never liked Wilsons no matter what electronics I’ve heard them with. My preference has always been the more plummy “British sound” and Wilsons were always too bright for me.  Larsman I did not make my way up to Baltimore for concerts BITD, I’d go into DC to Cellar Door or the Bayou. But it sounds like you saw some great shows at the Civic Center. Happy New Year to all and may our hearing and listening continue to provide us much enjoyment!
