Any ladies in the audience?

Curious about this a long time.

Any female members on here?

@sc53 Your systems selected are more than capable to produce End Sound that is with a very attractive presentation.

Like myself, you are set up with a large selection of audio devices, resulting in not being a monogamous individual where the relationship is focused towards an End Sound. I like yourself am polygamous when it comes to be Wed to a End Sound. I have different Sources, Amplification Options and Speaker Options readily at hand to change the End Sound produced from much enjoyed recordings.

I also witnessed what I believe are a Quad Valve Amp' at the base of a rack, I am in a past life very very familiar with these as a OEM and tweaked to be Upgraded designs.

For those needing a little extra learning about how Woman have been able to influence where sound production is the subject. The Links, are most likely a scratch of the surface.

I have heard it claimed once by a very will contacted individual, when it comes to the Bands and Music they developed in the Late 60's, if Delia Derbyshire hadn't produced her work, Psychodelia Music may never have been a concept, think of a period in music history, where Psychedelic Music did not evolve, probably no Woodstock either.

Women don't hear better or differently, they listen. Even while they are talking, they listen. Which is when we stop listening.

I don’t know whether women hear better but, IME, they listen better.

Women are also generally not as interested in tweaky gizmos and mechanical or electrical minutiae so they are less susceptible to being audiophiles.

Finally, IME, the first post by @willyht is mostly accurate:

"Women are generally interested in people. Men are interested in things.”

Regardless, women are certainly welcome here and I susceptible their input would be insightful. Rock on @sc53!

OK as an ear doctor I have read many 10 of thounds of hearing tests and it is true that men tend to lose high frequency more often than women. The most common cause of tinnitus is hearing loss. Some old iv antibiotics and chemotherapy also.while you can identify as whatever you like as I even had turbines needing a cat box in high-school,  the genetics I have studied for decades do lie. It is also true that women can color match dental crowns better that men.the women anesthesiologist tend to have a kinder gentler program as well.sounds like the women on here are highly accomplished and congrats to thier contributions.may we all enjoy the music in harmony this new year.
