How many new LPs did you pick up in 2025?

At the beginning of 2025 I told myself, self your audiophile clock is ticking, along with your biological clock. Stop buying records! Right... I would estimate between 75 -100 new purchases during the year. Estimated mix: 30% new and 70% previously enjoyed. Along with several Super-Hot Stampers from Better Records. After all, life is too short to listen to records that sound bad.

Can't remember!

I have been culling my album collection for the last couple of years trying to weed out and play grade 2200 albums with a goal of 1200 to 1500. WTS I have been pleasantly surprised that that is not going to be possible, new goal is 1800. With the attention to the current stash of LPs my new purchases of 100 LPs a year has shrunk to probably 25 this year and those 25 are absolute gems. Enjoy the music
