A Charlie Brown Christmas 24/192 Qobuz

Who has listened to this this season? If this doesn't give you the warm and fuzzies I don't know what will. Almost finished streaming the remastered and expanded version, 14 tracks, yet it is only 43 minutes, from Qobuz on high res, and not the best recording by any means, but sounds pretty decent. Some hiss, large soundstage, and of course many tunes that could have been 10 times as long as they are. Skating is just 2:25? Come on! And this was produced 60 years ago!

I think I will hear it in its entirety again when it is done. Maybe I'll try the 24 track version next.

Hoo, that’s expensive.

Got a lovely rib roast for $6.99 A pound.

Of course it wasn’t that wonderful aged beef.

It’s funny, every year I volunteer to eat the rib meat after they’re cut off the roast.

I always get a few quizzical looks. Most flavorful part of the roast and often better to me than the ’tail’ part.

Been listening to an old cassette and then CD of this for years.

We played a cassette of Vince's non-specific-holiday "Peanuts" music @ our wedding reception (small local restaurant booked for 50 guests) in 1992 and then again for my wife's 50th B-Day with 50 guests in attendance.

"50" would seem to be my number "9".
