Moving up in the REL line of subwoofers

I currently have a set of the REL 812 subs which i am very pleased with.  However i have the audio virus of upgradeitis and am considering replacing them with the REL 212 double decker subs.  Anyone here have experience with that upgrade?

Thanks so much.

Hi @ronkent, congratulations on the subs.  I expect you are already aware but REL has a number of very useful videos on their site about how to dial in a sub and a stereo pair.  Can be somewhat tedious but fun to work through.  It still amazes me how much a dialed in stereo pair adds to the "richness/depth" of the SQ.  It's so much more than just "bass".

All the best...

Thanks guys.  very excited.  my friend who i am getting them from is a reviewer and super knowledgeable.  he played for 40 years with the Philadelphia orc. and has a great and keen sense of hearing. plus he has a beautiful system based on Quad speakers.  this will be my fourth generation of REL speakers (S3, S5 /SHO, S812,  and now the new ones).  I suspect (famous last words) that these will be my end game subs :).
