I have two of Dr. Hsu’s subs and could not be more pleased. They accurately produce bass that I refer to as “tight and right” through all of the lower frequencies. Also you can give Dr. Hsu a call at (714) 386-9727.  His facilities are located in Anaheim, Ca.  Dr. Hsu or his right hand man, Kevin, will be happy to talk subs and your specific needs/set-up with you.  Their shipping cartons are built like tanks with steel reinforced corners.  I’m fortunate in that I’m only a 30 minute drive from Dr. Hsu’s Anaheim facility.  I’ve had several more “well known” brand name subs but I’ve been very impressed with my two Hsu units. 2 Rythmic's and you'll be happy but 4 would be better.

I read through the responses and didn’t see a budget mentioned.  Probably just missed it. Also no mention of Legacy Audio. I run a 5.2 home theater system (see virtual system) with all Legacy speakers. The two subs are the Foundation model. I didn’t have them initially. I thought the big 15” woofers in the mains were enough. Ran it that way for many years. This year I stepped up and added the two Foundation subs. What an improvement. Night and day. Anyway, my two cents.
