Best online source for music CD's

I still purchase CD's (for various reasons) but would be interested to know where you purchase your CD's?  Have not had good luck with Amazon third party sellers.

Thanks!

Music Direct, Turntable Lab, Dearborn Music. Had some luck on eBay. Salvation Army is usually Xmas stuff or missing discs from the jewel cases.

I suspect importcds, Deep Discount and Collectors Choice may be the same company. I believe they all list their location as Shepherdsville (not sure of the spelling) Kentucky and the websites are very similar. I’ve been able to purchase new older cds from C.C., whereas Importcds and D.D. only seem to stock what’s currently in print. C.C. appears to be one of the largest sellers of new cds on Discogs. All in all, it seems to me Discogs is the best all around cd source. Having said that, I typically check Ebay as well, to ensure I’m not paying more than I have to. Speaking of which, the price of used cds has certainly gone up!

Garage sales, Discogs and thrift stores. A few years back, at a garage sale, I bought five boxes ( about 1200) of CD’s for $150. I kept about 90 sold the rest (about 1100) to a friend for $100. I was able to fill in some holes in my collection and add 90 CD’s to my collection for about 55 cents a disc.  I have also bought SACD’s and HD CD’s for next to nothing.  But if you’re looking for that specific disc or that hard to find album, Discogs has been great for me.

CD Japan, Discogs, Ebay and SDE (Special Deluxe Edition) also Rhino and don't forget your favorite band's website.

In addition to those already mentioned add oldies.com especially for hard to find and out of print jazz and EU re-issues.  They are somewhat slow on delivery, but prices are fair and service is responsive.
