Please keep me out of the Rabbit Hole - Power Strips

I am finishing a new piece of furniture to contain all of my audio gear.  I need a total of 10 electrical outlets.  I can not spend much on the power strip at this time but I want to make sure that I do no harm.  I have heard that cheaping out on things like power conditioning, surge protection, etc... can result in treatments that can cause other issues.  When I renovated the house I did install a dedicated 20 amp circuit for this main outlet.  My gear is perfectly quiet.  Thoughts or Suggestions welcome.

Check to see if you have any DC voltage bleeding into that dedicated line.  Test when the refrigerator, tv and vacuum are running.

I’ve got the Elite 20i and Furman Power Strips that do offer circuit protection.  I don’t think you can beat either from a price / parts quality standpoint.  Furman specializing in the space, for professional applications.

The L10320 is only rated at 15amps.

Any hospital grade 20 amp power strip will work but I’d look at Cullen Cable for well made reasonably priced power distribution

Seasons Greetings to All🎄!

I’ve been very pleased with two power strips/line conditioners for my rigs. They are;

Furman Elite-15i (13 outlets)and the Audioquest Powerquest 303-(13 outlets). They are both transparent (no hum-noise) and they won’t break the bank at less than $600.  There are much more expensive units available but IMO these two units perform as well.

I also use the Wiremold power strip plugged into an Audience aR1p (original model) so I have power conditioning/surge protection for my whole system.  They pop up used occasionally for around $400 and may be a good option as a stopgap if nothing else until you’re ready to shell out more for a better unit so at least you’ll have some peace of mind in the meantime.  Just an idea FWIW.
