So far my testing of streamers has produced similar results as my testing of cables. I see people talking about how some cable totally transformed their system and I think they are full of it. The differences are tiny and usually in tonality, not resolution or dynamics.
The Eversolo products have features like EQ that none of the big boy audiophile streamers have. I guess true audiophiles have no clue what kind of frequency response their system is producing in their room. It’s a feature at least 90% of hifi systems would benefit from, yet I see no one on these forums talking about it. It’s just people swapping out gear randomly talking about how the new fancy thing they got is "so much better."
The T8 + Z10 combo is around $3500. I don't think you're going to do much better for the price.
The only big downside is very little to no after sale support. These Chinese companies are crushing their competitors on price and bang for the buck. They're not going to invest in the manpower for customer support. That would make the prices of their products go up.
