Best online source for music CD's

I still purchase CD's (for various reasons) but would be interested to know where you purchase your CD's?  Have not had good luck with Amazon third party sellers.

Thanks!

Presto in England gets most all of my business. They have a great site, great service, and low prices. The only thing they do not exceed Amazon is the delivery of hard stuff which has to go thru Royal mail. You can get CDs etc. from Amazon, usually, in a few days, but with Presto a few weeks. Highly recommended!

Discogs is my preferred source for both new and out of print, used discs. I’ve had bad luck with dishonestly/carelessly graded used cds on Amazon marketplace. Ebay is somewhat better but in my experience, Discogs is the most reliable and allows you to search for a specific edition of a given release. So if you want a MoFi hybrid SACD ,Japanese UHQ or West German edition of a given title, they’re all listed under the title, along with the US domestic versions.

It may be that Presto has a wider selection of new Classical disc’s. I can’t say. Otherwise, I can't see the advantage or ordering from the UK.

Mostly Ebay, sometimes Amazon. Once in awhile get a bad used CD but have always gotten my money back. 99% trouble free. Always look at feedback, if they have 1% or more negative, they probably deserved more. Even so, I have done fine with some that have up to 2% negative. Some buyers are jerks too and you cannot give negative feedback to a buyer. Idiotic policy.
