Healthy skepticism is welcome and encouraged in this hobby. Questioning claims, choosing not to try a product, or deciding it isn’t for you are all perfectly valid positions. What is not constructive, however, is repeatedly attacking the people who share their personal listening experiences.
There is a clear and recurring pattern in the way feedback is being challenged here:
-
When long-standing Audiogon members post impressions, they are accused of impersonation or account misuse.
-
When newer members share feedback, they are dismissed simply because it is their first post.
-
When users have high-end systems, their competence or listening ability is questioned.
-
When users have more modest systems, their feedback is dismissed as “not good enough” to be meaningful.
-
When posts attacking other members are moderated, the platform itself is blamed for censorship.
-
Nearly every response focuses on ridiculing the person rather than discussing the product or the technology.
This approach makes it impossible for any user to share feedback without being attacked—regardless of experience level, system quality, or account history.
Again, skepticism is not the issue. Many of us are skeptics by nature. But dismissing a product without listening to it, and then mocking those who have, does not contribute to a productive discussion. It shifts the conversation away from ideas and experiences and toward personal attacks, which benefits no one.
For context, this brand publicly presented its Veridion technology at the last AXPONA show. Shows of that scale conduct a basic level of due diligence before allowing exhibitors, which should at least establish that this is not some fly-by-night operation.
The purpose of this thread is simple: to allow users to share firsthand experiences with QSA Lanedri products, whether positive, neutral, or negative. Readers can then decide for themselves what to think—or whether to engage at all.
If you are skeptical, that’s fine. If you are curious, ask questions. But please allow others to share their experiences without being mocked or personally attacked.
Let’s keep the discussion focused on the technology and the listening results, not the individuals posting them.
