Who here continues to regularly use a CD player?

I do have a CD player, however, at this point, I rarely use it. I mostly listen to vinyl and stream.

Do you still regularly use your CD spinner?

I still listen to CDs, even more so now, as I find that there is still more information on them to get.  I still listen to LPS, always have, but the ease and convenience, together with the sound quality of CDS make me purchase much more of them, including SACDs.  Also stopped purchasing 45RPMs, for the most part.  I bought several, at basically $150.00 a crack or more, and I never listen to them.

Yes I do!
CD:75% - Streaming:25% (the gap is narrowing). I do have records but I haven’t got the bandwidth to deal with that area. That’s a beast of an investment to even ponder.

100% Redbook CDs for my main system. I stream on my secondary systems with occasional CD play via crappy DVD player..

When I adopted CD as a source and eventually ended up with the CDT > DAC I now use, it was thought of solely as a second source and entering into the world of having a digital source in the system.

Today the chosen CDT and bespoke built DAC, has proven itself to be equal first as the source in the system.

CD is used more than Vinyl, with the result being Cart's are used much less, lengthening their period of being an optimal performer.

More CD's are purchased as a used Item than Vinyl Album are bought new. In all purchase comparisons I can acquire a substantial amount of CD's for the price of one new purchased Vinyl Album.

Also some of the new Vinyl Albums purchased have incorporated a CD as part of the sale.

For much less than the outlay of a particular Brands Model of a Cart', I have a CD Replay system in place. Where the medium used is available in substantial numbers for the price of a few Vinyl Albums purchased new.

What is not to like with having a option to replay CD's.

I suppose it can be stated that CD's and Vinyl can both be converted to become FLAC Files, offering an option on a third source to be used within the audio system.

I use CD's exclusively. Did streaming for a bit but its just not my thing. Over the years I've built a decent library of CD's .I enjoy collecting them and adding them to my catalog. I did streaming for a couple of months but I just didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.
