Speaker for 300b amp?

I'm taking the de Capos off the top of the JBLs until I find the other cables.

What started out as astonishing just became annoying. Too much mid-range.

It did get me thinking about the effect the baffle has on dispersion, however.

Given the large room I’d look at Omni directional or open baffle speakers. My suggestion would be Duevel Sirius BE. (equally important to efficiency is a benign impedance characteristic: ideally not less than 6Ohms across the frequency spectrum)

I can breathe easy now that the heresy has been dismantled.

First impressions can be misleading.

Most intriguing at the moment are very high efficiency speakers ( > 100 dB ).
