Speaker for 300b amp?

What have you tried and what are you using?

I'm thinking of a single 300b per channel.

Prefer recommendations for current production speakers, not vintage unobtaniums.

Lastly, what is it you like about your combination?

Second vote for Charney Audio.  I have the Maestro II with AER-BD3 drivers and they match well with my 300b Tube Audio Lab amp. A little pricey though. I’ve rolled Sophia and Western Electric tubes and there is a difference.

I have a 300 B Audio Note amp (Meishu Tonmeister Silver) that sounds amazing with both Audio Note AN-E speakers and Pure Audio Project Duet 15 speakers.  Both speakers have high 90s sensitivity.  You need sensitive speakers for 300b amp.

Volti, Fleetwood, Charney, DeVore, Klipsch.

I am not sure about Tannoy or Fyne. In all case a sub will be a great combo

I needed speakers designed for corner placement, and went with the Charney Maestro with the Voxativ AC 2.6 driver, and I have used both WE and Takatsuki 300bs with them. The alternative for me would be Audio Note speakers, but I have been really happy with the Charneys. 8 watts is more than enough to drive them well above the volumes I play music at.

I guess my set up is a little out of left field but I'm running the Evolution Acoustic Micro One speakers with my Finale 300b evo and it's does just fine. The speakers are 88db efficient and I would go any lower. I had a pair of PS Audio FR5 that didn't work at all, but they're one of the least efficient speakers on the planet (83db) so I wasn't surprised.
