Capacitor upgrade for prima Luna dialogue premium HP

Hello everyone
 

My amp is in the shop and I am thinking of taking the opportunity to upgrade the capacitors. Previous posts about this amp suggested Jensen copper foil capacitors, but these are no longer obtainable  

 

I was wondering what you all thought might be a good upgrade for this amp? I have been very happy with the Ray Tubes And radiotechnica gain tubes, And I’m looking to obtain a sound of remarkable startling realism. The sound stage is there already…

Miflex, or VCaps if you want to spend. Will they fit? Maybe. Will they give you everything you want? Depends.

I’d fix the current issue, sell the amp and buy a better one. You can never 1) know what sonic changes the upgraded caps will result in and it could be a move in a wrong direction, and 2) recoup the money spent on an upgrade. 
IMO it’s not worth doing.

Try 0.1uF copper bypass caps from Audyn or Duelund..

+1 @audphile1    If you plan on selling it, don’ replace the caps.

If you plan on keeping it, ask ChatGPT about sonic signatures of different caps.

V-Cap CuTF’s are excellent.   But are expensive and large for their values.  They may not fit inside.

I agree with steakster, V-Cap CuTF are excellent!  I must add, a very long break in before sound is optimal.
