always look a bit over your budget, something you might want might pop up. both the TT and the long arm are quite good I have read (never saw one)

alternate headshells with this arm pipe, there is a straight pipe for fixed cartridge that fits the arm base, like the Technics system.

clarify the voltage, a simple voltage convertor might be needed like I use for my 100v TT81.

I gave my friend an SP-15 in a black base, with a Grace arm, here's one in Rosewood, with the EPA-B500 Base, and the removable S arm-wand, for removable headshells. I installed that arm base on my friend's unit, the combo is compact and awesome

@elliottbnewcombjr those are all great looking choices. Tucson isn’t a bad drive. I could visit a dealer of mine north of there on the way. Thank you for all the great suggestions.
