Jay’s Audio Lab YouTube interview 😂

I have never been so turned off by someone so arrogant and Mr. right than I was when I watched Jay’s latest interview with one of his customers.
First the guy seems like an … and then starts bashing other high end companies he doesn’t like. Jay then agrees with him to make him happy and right.
I suppose Jay must keep that customer happy and agree with him to keep his business a live.

I don't understand how someone can create a really nice sound room and then provide samples of how it sounds on YouTube. Is he opening up a retail store in the middle of a Texas forest? Who will get to see and hear this amazing sound room? Maybe it's a situation where if you build it they will come?

For me uninteresting videos of ultra expensive kit due that I don't believe he ever uses unamplified music to evaluate gear.

Altthough I do enjoy 60´s/70´s classic rock, (mostly in the car) it´s classical and jazz in the home.

Jay has never demonstrated any knowledge about music itself whatsoever, nor any knowledge of electrical engineering. But half truths and controversy generate engagement, which social media thrives on.

In addition, it probably generates revolving customers who are constantly dissatisfied with their gear, which is good for salespeople like him.

I don't know why I clicked on that link above to the HiFiFive, but yikes...I wish I hadn't.
