How do they treat an overmolded cable like that?
The $250 power cables and $600 power strip that dethroned my $10k Shunyata Everest
Hello fellow audiophiles. I've been using products from QSA Lanedri who I believe offer the best price to performance ratio on the market today for their power and signal cables. You may have heard of Quantum Science Audio fuses and might even have some installed in your system. QSA Lanedri have perfected this technology/treatment and are now offering it in their power and signal products. The line of products in particular is called Veridion Discovery which is their most affordable line. I currently own 2 Veridion Discovery power strips (daisy chained), 8 power cables, 3 ethernet cables, 1 DC cable. Initially I was sent a power and ethernet cable to try and was so impressed I ordered more including the power strips. I have been comparing their power cables to much more expensive cables from Audioquest and Furutech. I've also been comparing their power strip to my Shunyata Everest power conditioner and found I prefer the Discovery power strip. Infact I'm in the process of trading in my Shunyata Everest and corresponding Sigma X power cable for either a better integrated amplifier or speakers. Once you pair up Discovery power cables with the Discovery power strip things improve dramatically. Not only does audio improve but picture quality and home cinema improves also and will challenge anything at any price. I will say the Discovery line requires a few days of continuous use or "burn in" period before proper evaluation. I compared their Ethernet cables to the likes of Audioquest Diamond and Wireworld Platinum Starlight 8 and again preferred the Discovery line. Through the Discovery products music sounds cleaner and clearer with a heightened sense of realism. This also applies to film and TV. Compared to the Shunyata Everest picture quality is now cleaner with more vibrant colours. Motion and panning shots are improved with less stutter. I will add that I have the power strips on Auva EQ CSA1 isolation footers. All of my equipment is sitting on Auva EQ footers which I found were better than the Isoacoustic Oreo footers I had previously. The Discovery products look very basic and don't scream high end but from my experience they can go toe to toe with the best at very affordable prices! They offer a 30 day money back guarantee for peace of mind. Definitely worth a look. Cheers.

@audiophile1, @bigtwin, @devinplombier and others I respect your opinions, total skepticism and multiple posts saying the same thing....Scam, can't polish a turd, sprinkled with fairy dust, etc, etc. I am a longtime Agoner and used to post a lot, but I no longer do because I have my dream system and I did not like all of the negativity on this site. That is why I use WBF for more friendly information. I am not saying your comments are not friendly, I am just making a general statement. Why would I, with a high-end system, use a $250 power cord? Why would I sell my Inakustic 4500P Power Conditioner to use a QSA Veridion Power Strip? I sat in my listening chair and said, why did I spend all of this money ($7200) on this Power Conditioner? Don't get me wrong, the Inakustic was great. However, after trying the Veridion Power Strip, I immediately sold the Inakustic. I just saved myself a lot of money. I understand your skepticism, but unless you actually try one, you really can not make any statements. And, with a 30-day money-back guarantee, how could you go wrong? With regards to a $5 cord selling for $250. How is that any different than, say, an Audioquest cord costing $150 but selling for $2K? Did you ask what that cord was made up of? Every PC has different sound tendencies. I am sure you have thousands of dollars invested in Cords and Cables. I doubt $250 will break your bank. In my system, using QSA Lanedri, my music is more detailed and fast, and the instrumentation is very pointed. Detail is very important to me. I want to hear every musical instrument and know where they are standing on stage. Whether listening at 60 dB or 85 dB, the music is clear and concise. Will one $250 power cord revolutionize your system? No, but in my case, I have a full loom. I commend you if you understand the nuances of every component that you have. I certainly do not, nor do I care to know. My ears (I am functionally blind) tell me the story. As I stated above, I do not understand the science behind QSA Lanedri, nor did I understand the science behind the COVID shots that I received My only complaint is that I wish I had known about QSA Lanedri before I invested tens of thousands of dollars in cords and cables. The Veridion Discovery Series is a game-changer. Is it the equivalent of my Ultimatum Infinity PC's that I have? No, but it's damn good. Look, I have no skin in this game. I applaud the Op for sharing his feedback on a $250 power cord. If it is not for you, cool, move on to another thread. But if you have questions, I would recommend either going to WBF and reading the comments or emailing Anas Lanedri from his website. Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!! |
@devinplombier - really? A lot cheaper and easier than trying out other components. Nobody’s twisting your arm, but I’ve read the many “extremely” positive testimonials so I’m bracing my budget when I try them. It’s not like a typical cable upgrade, something else is happening. QSA uses their treatment on in many other products. I don’t look at it as black or white, but rather in probability - If many share a positive experience chances are good that I will benefit also, nothing is guaranteed. |
