Who here continues to regularly use a CD player?

I do have a CD player, however, at this point, I rarely use it. I mostly listen to vinyl and stream.

Do you still regularly use your CD spinner?

I go between my ARC CD6SE player and Aurender N200 everyday. The sound between the two is virtually indistinguishable.

@bigtwin I can see the attraction of having all this music available.

Welcome to streaming- that’s a major advantage- discovering new music.  When I go to an audio show, I often take notes of newly discovered artists. Also, hi-res is often sonically superior to redbook. Maybe someday you should try as I suspect you’ll greatly enjoy it, it’s not in stone so you can change your mind later.

I have both analog+ digital including streaming

@kennyc   I think what holds me back, is the huge investment, sorry I should say money spent, on my current system and library of CDs and Vinyl build up over the years.  If I do add streaming, it will be a DAC-less unit and I will use my Esoteric K-01XD SACD player for the DAC portion.  When I see the cost of high end streaming units, I struggle with the concept of adding more money to my system.
