Who here continues to regularly use a CD player?

I do have a CD player, however, at this point, I rarely use it. I mostly listen to vinyl and stream.

Do you still regularly use your CD spinner?

I play a CD pretty much every day, though not always on main system...I have numerous secondary systems, all include CD and some also streaming...I probably mostly stream, and play LP often in a binge of a few weeks...I do worry about the short and long term effects of streaming financials on artists and music, especially for non mainstream artists and music...

Yep ,,,, you betcha even though I also stream QUBOZ through a separate dedicated streamer/dac.

REGA ISIS VALVE cdp/dac is a 55lb premium build high-end audio product that also provides external source digital file playback with direct USB input into its high -end dac.

it is the only model that I am aware of that has a standout feature with REGA’s commitment to long-term serviceability, including storing two matched, serial-numbered replacement laser mechanisms for each unit at their factory.

This REGA unit is a generally a better audio performer than my standalone $4K streamer/digital player/dac. That is not surprising because the REGA cdp analogue output stage is governed by tubes, and it costs more than three times the price of my dedicated external streamer .

My CD player is the main source for me.  I'd say 80% CD - 20% Vinyl.  I have no streaming equipment in my system.  Although, as I type this, I'm listening to ad free Spotify on my $30 bluetooth speaker.  My "winter" system.  I can see the attraction of having all this music available.

Same here.  I have ripped over a thousand CDs to my streamer and also use streaming services, but CD/SACD is over 50% of my listening
