What’s the Sweet Spot price point wise in your audio journey?

starbucks in general.

l have my own coffee maker and grind my coffee beans. No art to that.

l do not rate starbucks highly. That’s why l spell it with a small s. Too much froth so the “handcrafted” experts over achieve in milk content ratio to maximise profits. 
That’s true brilliant marketing and hype by its owners. No stars from me.
Undervalues and exploits it’s customer base plus offers poor grammage value for money. Directly comparing to the competition in the UK with Costa, Caffe Nero and Coffee 1, l rate one star starbucks coming in…. last.

l’ve avoided starbucks for 20+ years in all probability. A sweet spot only if l would have shares in the company.

I dont use the expression "sweet spot" to describe  the maximal perceived  ratio of S.Q. / price different for each of us...

I use the concept of "minimal acoustical satisfaction threshold" we can reach or not, which perceived threshold  imply some relatively good balance level between all the acoustical factors involved, which balance we can objectively understand and implement  ...

We need to study acoustics  a bit to understand our own subjective/objective situation...(acoustics is not mere room acoustic).

the only rating worth anyone's time is rating by their espresso. That's the basis of 80% of any coffee vendor's offerings. 

Starbucks' espresso is a 2/5 at best. I could write pages about how mediocre it is. 

@mahgister  Sitting here grooving to Sue Foley's The Ice Queen on my winter system.  Best $30 I've ever spent.  🤣    

@parkergetdean   I've always thought Starbucks over roasts their beans so you can taste them in a large latte.  Their straight cup of black coffee is undrinkable.  IMHO.
