the only rating worth anyone's time is rating by their espresso. That's the basis of 80% of any coffee vendor's offerings.
Starbucks' espresso is a 2/5 at best. I could write pages about how mediocre it is.
What’s the Sweet Spot price point wise in your audio journey?
I ask the question because there are so much gear at vastly different price points. My sweet spot is the 15-30k range. That’s where my speakers, amp, and Dac for the most part sets. There are good things below the prices but there is synergy and price/performance when purchasing audio. For some folks it’s the 5-15 range. It just depends on what you budget is you can fund great stuff all over Audio. Thoughts! No negativity. Just real answers.
@mahgister Sitting here grooving to Sue Foley's The Ice Queen on my winter system. Best $30 I've ever spent. 🤣 |
@parkergetdean I've always thought Starbucks over roasts their beans so you can taste them in a large latte. Their straight cup of black coffee is undrinkable. IMHO. |
I had rarely felt so envious in an audio thread... I had no winter system but .... Perhaps one indeed, but way too much costlier... I walk in winter in my basement in a eight form ride listening my Fiio FT1 from my Hidizs Ap 80 pro.... Too much money to the winter winds...

@parkergetdean I think that's true for the drip coffee mostly. I have been drinking their blonde espresso (to avoid the burnt taste) for a decade at least, when on the road, pressed for time. It went from OK to bad. |
