Do you own gear from defunct brands?

I bought my first stereo setup in 1977, though before that I had a stereo that was cobbled together from bits that I could cobble together.. Over the years I’ve purchased new equipment from companies that eventually went under. Do you have or had gear in your system from companies that went under? 
 

Right now I have a streaming transport from Auralic, which went out of business in September 2025. I owned a CAL cd player and that company went under while I owned that cd player. There’s been others too-

I loved the Auralic Vega DAC. With Auralic out of business, I’m sure there are a couple of really nice priced DACs floating around for people who might not have such a big budget, but need really nice sounding stuff. I wouldn’t hesitate for a minute. 

Many years ago I got a super giveway bargain on a McLaren preamp. I think it was the early 90s and they either turned into something else or disappeared. It was the 602 model I think, but again, it was a long time ago- not TagMcLaren, just McLaren.

McLaren were a New Zealand company started in 1981 with the 602 a line preamp released to the US in 1985, they went on till about 1996. Great company that had some lovely looking and sounding gear.
