Favorite Streamer/DAC combo under 3k?

I recently upgraded to the Denon DNP-2000NE through which I stream Tridal Connect and play CD's. A noticeable sound quality improvement over my previous Ifi Zen Signature. It matches well with my Marantz PM8006 integrated.

NAIM Uniti Atom?

Volumio Motivo fits the brief:  one-piece streamer/dac; screen; $2k.

FYI I bought a used Innuous Zen MK3 streamer and a new Holo Audio Cyan 2 DAC for about 3K total.  The best setup I’ve had so far.  I’m set with No plans to upgrade.

based on my experience for 3 grand outlay i would get a modest streamer...

bluesound nano or node with linear power supply, or even an old aries mini (also w lps), it is a wonderful device ... this will be just 500 bucks roughly

then for 2500 you truly have a world of excellent dacs to consider, the world is your oyster ... from warm and cozy denafrips to vast and expansive chords and wonderful all arounders from weiss, gustard, schiit and so on

another thought is spend just 1000-1500 on the dac (gustard r26, chord qutest, mhdt orchid, yggy lim) and then you have 3-5 years of qobuz streaming paid for with the remaining grand... this may well be the best path to musical happiness
